What is shared and what is per server
- Shared by both servers: coins, friends and private chat.
- Separate per server: dinos, items, mail, news and the Community.
So your coins buy things on either server, but a dino you raised on server 1 does not move to server 2. To play with friends, pick the same server.
Low rule · No Toxic
Low rule means few rules, so everyone can hunt, flee and survive the way the game is meant to be played. If you get stuck in a rock or hit other in-game trouble, the app has helper buttons.
No Toxic means compete in the game and respect each other outside it: no insults, no discrimination and no harassment of other players, in voice, chat or Discord. Report problems to the team through Report a bug or Discord.
The full terms of use are in the Survival Island Companion app.
Proximity voice chat
Voice on our servers runs inside the Survival Island Companion, with no Mumble or plugin needed. Hold the talk key and players near you in the game hear you, fading with distance, and pick a small, medium or large mic range.
What the app gives you
- Live map and game overlay: your position, the Sanctuary, Migration and Patrol zones, water and boss pins; Alt + M brings the app over the game.
- My dinos: all 10 Prime Elder conditions, mutation slots and helper buttons.
- Dino storage: store a dino in a slot and load it back later, what many players call dino parking.
- Shop and dino colours: colours, mystery boxes, profile frames and storage slots, paid with coins shared by both servers. Colours, mystery boxes and frames can also be sent to friends as gifts.
- Death certificate, life code and mail: every death gets a certificate; revive letters and items from the team arrive in your mailbox.
- Rankings: combat, survival, Prime and bloodline, playtime, and statistics for every species.
- Community, friends and chat: the community feed and server news, friends and private chat.
- Roadmap and bug reports: see what the team is working on, vote, and report bugs with pictures.
Events on the island
Dino bosses roam the island with pins on the map and a notice when one appears; some reward coins to whoever takes them down and those who helped. In the Hunt, one player is the prey and the whole server hunts them before time runs out. A prey that survives the full time is rewarded, and nobody becomes prey without accepting first.
